Three steps. About a minute.
Nothing to install on your computer. No config file. No terminal. You add Plinth as a connector in Claude, sign in with a magic link, and start describing what you want.
Open Claude's connectors panel
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add Custom Connector. Or jump straight there with the button below.
Open in ClaudePaste the server URL
This is the one thing you'll copy. Paste it into the connector dialog and name it whatever you like.
https://mcp.plinth.page/mcp
Authorize & start describing
You'll get a magic-link sign-in. Then open a new Claude chat and say something like: “Build a site for my pottery studio — earthy, warm, approachable.” It goes from there.
A few things worth knowing.
§01Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Hobby plan is free, forever, no card required. You only hand over a card when you want custom domains, collections, or Stripe payments — the things on the paid tiers.
§02What Claude plan do I need?
Any, including free. The free plan gets you fewer messages per day, which is the only real cap on how much building you can do in a single sitting. A Pro or Max plan removes that constraint.
§03Where does my site actually live?
On Cloudflare's edge network, served from the 300+ location closest to each visitor. You'll get a .plinth.page subdomain immediately, and you can connect a custom domain on the Pro plan.
§04What if the connector won't authorize?
Most of the time it's a browser pop-up blocker. Allow pop-ups for claude.ai, refresh, and try again. If it still won't connect, email hello@plinth.page and we'll unblock you.
